FAMEa de CUBA

Inspired by the illustrative advertising style and tourism campaigns of the 50’s, the FAMEa de CUBA agency party invite unfolds, revealing a series of individual “postcards,” while the back forms a Cuban cityscape to set the scene for the event. We modernized the vintage look, creating a distinctive style with timeless appeal. The logo, seals and bold, graphic type complement the distressed textural patterns and illustrated characters. And the tongue-in-cheek copy mimics the “must-see!” style of throwback tourism. Speedy RSVPs confirmed the visual impact and effectiveness of the piece in promoting the retro Havana-themed event. (Or was it the cigars?)
